What counts as a check?
A check is one identification request from the Signet Shield client agent or SDK — for example, when a visitor signs up, logs in or checks out. Each check costs A$0.10 and returns the visitor ID along with every Smart Signal. Looking up past events through the server API, receiving webhooks and using the dashboard don't use checks.
Is there a minimum top-up?
Yes. The minimum top-up is A$50, which buys 500 checks. Above that you can top up any whole-dollar amount, in A$1 increments.
Does my credit expire?
No. Credit you've paid for doesn't expire while your account is active, so you can top up once and use it at your own pace.
What happens when my balance runs out?
We'll email you when your balance is running low. If it reaches zero, new checks are declined until you top up, so you're never charged more than you've paid for.
Which currency do you charge in?
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Any taxes that apply to your purchase are shown at checkout before you pay.
Do you offer volume pricing?
If you expect to top up more than A$5,000 at a time or run millions of checks a month, contact our sales team and we'll put together custom pricing.
Is device fingerprinting GDPR compliant?
It can be. Fraud prevention and security are recognised legitimate interests under the GDPR, although some jurisdictions also require notice or consent before device data is collected. We provide a DPA, Standard Contractual Clauses, EU data residency and tooling to delete visitor data on request, and our Terms explain what you need to tell your users.
